Commonly used cooling methods are air-cooled, water-cooled, counter-current cooling, etc.
Air cooling. The higher the pressure ratio, the higher the gas temperature rise. In the case of ε≤2.0, the exhaust temperature is usually not too high. Therefore, the gas only needs to pass through the casing and the atmosphere natural heat exchange can be called air cooling.
Water cooling. When the pressure ratio is large, the exhaust gas temperature will be high if air cooling is used. At this time, cooling water can be used to forcibly cool the gas.
Countercurrent Cooling. Countercurrent cooling is usually applied in two ways: first, when the atmosphere is vented directly from a blower or vacuum pump, the atmosphere can also be introduced directly into the housing as a cooling gas.
