JTS125 Roots fan round nutThe assembly of locking device for the installation of bearings, gears and other parts on the shaft, usually with a “non-return washer + round nut” device for locking. Among them, the number of claws on the outer claw of the stop washer is odd (generally 9~19), and there are four slots on the outer circle of the round nut. In this way, every very small angle of rotation of the round nut will enable one of the four slots to be aligned with one of the outer jaws of the non-return washer, thus providing multiple locking positions. In the case of embedding the inner claw of the check washer in the stop groove of the shaft, the locking is accomplished by bending an appropriately positioned outer claw toward the round nut after it has been tightened, so that it is embedded in one of the four grooves. But can not be close to the bent claw and back to loose round nut, so that “locking” is just an illusion. Tighten (or disassemble) round nut, it is best to use a wrench with a hook, this wrench has a flat hook, just can be embedded into the round nut groove. If such a tool is not available at the time of inspection, a hand hammer and flat chisel can also be used to tighten the round nut.
